The aspens were beautiful this week. The trails, if I went out early, were quiet.

I love to hike the trails that wind through stands of large old aspens any time of year, but autumn is my favorite.

    How beautiful. I can just imagine taking that hike, too. It has been far too long since I have walked in the woods.

    Thank you, Martha. I love it when someone’s imagination is sparked by the images I post. This is one of my favorite trails.

    Love the yellow trail pic! (the first trail pic is my favorite!) Takes me to the Hell’s Hole trail kinda near Mt. Evans.

    I can smell fall in the air!
