broadtail hummingbird photos

Doing the broadtail boogie, this hummingbird posed for me and the camera yesterday. After a quick sip from a flower, this hummer struck several hovering poses in front of the camera probably trying to get me to back off and stay away from the flowers.

    Very nice - You might think about submitting the post to I AND THE BIRD. I particularly like the composition of the middle one, the way the wings frame the face and bill.

    I love these photos, they are beautiful! Hummingbirds are so awesome, they seem almost surreal.
