red fox wants my cat

I looked up the hill to see a fox staring at my cat in his cat run. After the first capture the she looked away as if to hide her interest in him. But, the tongue licking the lips told the truth. I’m glad my cat is always safe inside our house or the cat run.
Fabulous photos, even if he was hungrily eyeing your cat. So glad to hear your cat is protected from harm.
Did the cat notice the fox at all? or react in any way?

Wren, the cat was just staring back. I think he knows he’s fairly safe inside his cat run. And, he can always go through the pet door and back into the house if he feels threatened.
