Five shy wild turkeys have been passing by my window this week.
The turkeys leave at the slightest sound or movement, so I captured these images through the dirty double pane glass on a dark and snowy spring day. Even so, they noticed me watching them and hurried away.
I tried to photograph a hawk the other day, and as soon as I turned the knob on the door out to the deck, he was gone. I wouldn’t have thought at that distance I’d be a threat, but then again, I’m not a hawk.
I like these photo, particularly the top one. I don’t often get a view up close like that.
