<\/a><\/p>\nMy fox kit\u00a0images were captured\u00a0in late May and early June of 2007, thanks to near neighbors who called when the\u00a0vixen and three kits emerged from under\u00a0their\u00a0deck.<\/p>\n
What\u00a0gets people talking in my booth? Here are some of the FAQs:<\/p>\n

- Hummingbirds\u00a0 – How did you get\u00a0these photos of hummingbirds?<\/em><\/li>\n
- Other Birds\u00a0 – What kind of bird is that?<\/em><\/li>\n
- Lions Head – Is that Lone Rock? <\/em><\/li>\n
- Fox kits – How did you get so close?<\/em><\/li>\n
- General – What cameras do you use?\u00a0 Is it digital? Photoshopped? <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
I drink lots of water at the shows because I have to do a\u00a0lot of talking.<\/p>\n
Now today, as I prepare for this weekend’s show,\u00a0should I print a large number of the same images that sold last weekend? Not necessarily. My experience has been that the favorite image often changes from one show to the next.<\/p>\n
This Saturday the show is in Conifer at the high school.<\/p>\n
The Holiday Boutique and Silent Auction is\u00a0run entirely by community volunteers\u00a0each\u00a0year (since 1977!) and with net proceeds from the jury and booth fees going to\u00a0mountain area\u00a0schools, volunteer fire and rescue departments, and other local nonprofits. Nearly 90 artisans participating in this event donate 10% of their gross sales and an auction item.<\/p>\n
